There are millions of people in the world suffering extreme cold. In 1992 the ‘Wrap with Love' program began with the idea to help as many people as possible by providing warm Wraps to ward off hypothermia. In the past 23 years ‘Wrap with love' have sent more than 400,000 wraps to people in over 75 countries, including Australia with the help of our hardworking and generous volunteers.
Just one square provides one twenty-eighth of warmth and collectively twenty-eight assembled squares creates one whole warm and sheltering wrap.
Albion Park High School knitters have been busy this winter – Summa Horwood and Breanna Payne are admiring the colours, texture and variety of styles of wraps that will provide warmth for those suffering extreme hardship.
