It was great to see an Albion Park High School representation at the Shellharbour White Ribbon Walk on the morning of Friday 25 November.

The issue of violence against women cannot be understated so well done to the three Year 10 boys and nine Year 11 students who joined hundreds of others in the local community in helping raise awareness of this significant problem within our society.

Just as pleasing, was the response back at school on this day. Led by organiser Chloe Clifford of Year 9 students wore white on the day as well as donated to the cause. It was a powerful moment to see some junior students, as well as the entire Year 11 cohort, join the male staff within the school on assembly to show their support of White Ribbon Day. Well done Park.
