On Monday APHS celebrated Grandparents' Day: a special day that recognises the significant contribution that grandparents make to their families and communities. It was also an occasion for acknowledging the efforts and devotion of grandparents who are often full-time carers for their grandchildren.
Congratulations to the many Year 7 students who spoke about their progress and work in a variety of faculties this year. Some of the displays were game oriented and showcased the skills of the students to their proud grandparents.
Dance and vocal items: (Keana Dobeson, Amellia Curties Henry, Kyarlee Clulow and Jordan Isaac)
English: Film projects
Math: Numeracy board games
Industrial Arts: Tic-Tac-Toe using 3D printers and woodwork projects

A yummy afternoon tea of scones with jam and cream was provided by Home Economics as students and their family perused the displays. Congratulations to Ms Joynson and all the students who helped to make this such a successful afternoon.
