I wish to thank all of the students who represented Albion Park High School at the various ANZAC ceremonies last week. I also wish to thank Daniel Jones-Morley on the recent leadership he showed in the organisation of the school ANZAC Ceremony on Wednesday 27 April. Daniel along with HSIE teacher Lynda Legradi and classmates worked as part of a team to ensure that Albion Park High School had a magnificent, moving and significant event to commemorate the 101st ANZAC service.
It has been an important focus and goal of the school in the last few years to ensure quality 21st century learning which encompasses growth in student leadership, problem solving, teamwork and communication. The participation in this important school event involves all of these. Well done!
Along with these I wish to express my thanks to teachers, Rebecca Keen, Tyne MacIver and the wonderful music students. From the sound deck to the choir, the guitarist to the piper and bugler – the music was magnificent.
