Student leadership

Leadership 2016

Students don't have to be school captains or house captains to be considered leaders. We encourage our students to be leaders in the classroom and playground, through their support for other students, or their involvement in academic, sporting, cultural or community events and projects.

Three leadership committees work within the school allowing students to develop their skills within areas of their own interest.

The Student Representative Committee (SRC) are involved in the promotion of student ideas and concerns to the appropriate staff and P and C. The SRC are also heavily involved in Fundraising and Volunteering in the wider community.

The Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Committee promote all forms of the arts within the school. They assist with school productions and assemblies. They promote and fundraise for a variety of charities within the community

The Sports Committee promote healthy lifestyles and sport within our school. They fundraise to support students who represent the school at state and national levels. They also support a variety of charities.
