What is a Student Representative Council?

A Student Representative Council is a group of students in a school elected by their fellow students. They represent the students in the school and organise ways for them to participate in school life.

Student Representative Council - Councillor's Oath of Office

In accepting the Office of the Student Council Representative at Albion Park High School, I give the following pledge:

As a school leader, I will set exemplary standards of conduct, attendance, industry and manners.
I will wear my uniform with pride, and as an example to others. I will strive to bring credit to my school, so that our traditions will be enhanced by my leadership.
I will exert my influence to have a caring school where students will be safe, happy and successful.
I will represent the students of my school through attendance at SRC meetings, as well as regularly conferring with the Principal, Executive and staff to advise of the needs and wishes of the students.
